The next date in the Biden DOJ's case against Trump will be August 28.
The Biden DOJ dragged Trump into court again on Thursday, this time in a Washington, DC courtroom over conspiracy charges stemming from the aftermath of the 2020 presidential election. Trump has contended, since the election results rolled in, that the election was stolen.
The charges consist of "conspiracy." He was charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct and official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.
Making use of lawsuits and recounts, Trump and his legal team worked to uncover malfeasance as regards election procedures and balloting. While those efforts failed, Trump continued to say that the election was stolen. As the years have gone on since the election, there have been reveals as to the efforts Biden, his advocates and his campaign went to in order to ensure only positive news stories about them and their policies online.
This included covering up stories about Biden's son Hunter, which implicated Biden in influence peddling schemes. The truth about those schemes are just now coming out in the US House as the GOP majority Congress investigates.
This is a breaking story and will be updated.
