Nikki Haley has been declared the winner of the Vermont GOP primary. Donald Trump and Haley were neck and neck most of the evening, with Haley narrowly beating out the 2024 GOP frontrunner.

The Associated Press called the race at 10:37 pm with 83 percent of the vote in, hours after polls closed in the state, with many other states across the country calling their races before Vermont did. At the time the race was called, Haley had 49.7 percent of the vote while Trump had 46 percent.

Vermont marks Haley's second win, with the former South Carolina governor winning Washington, DC earlier in the week. Trump on the other hand has won Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia in Super Tuesday states alone.
