Donald Trump has been declared the winner of Mississippi's GOP primary.

The race was called at 8:08 pm with just over 100 votes in by the Associated Press. With Nikki Haley dropping out after a massive loss on Super Tuesday, Trump remains the final major contender in the race and is likely to win the nomination for the party after Tuesday's elections.

Before Tuesday's elections, Trump stood at 1,098 delegates, needing only 126 more delegates out of the 161 at stake on Tuesday.
