Protestors took to the streets on Saturday afternoon to demonstrate against Canada and Israel as part of a "Day of Rage" against the state of Israel. Protestors chanted "Free Palestine" and other slogans directed at the nation of Israel.

The event was organized by Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM) and a Facebook post advertising the protest reads:

"WE ARE OUTRAGED AT ZIONIST COLONIAL EXPANSION AND VIOLENCE. WE HAVE NO TRUST IN THE SETTLER-COLONIAL STATES OF CANADA AND THE U.S. TO BE THE "HONEST BROKERS" OF PEACE. WE MUST TAKE LEADERSHIP IN OUR NATIONAL LIBERATION. WE WILL RETURN."

The event has been endorsed by a long list of Ontario unions and university groups including CUPE 3903.

Tensions ran high as a counter protestor yelled "Muhammed raped children" and Muhammed raped a six year old."

Police escorted the man away from the protestors and placed him under arrest. There is no word on what the charges might be.

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
