The Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell released the names of 39 people in the Obama administration who are believed to have “requested Flynn unmasking.” This was during the transition period between the Obama and Trump administrations, according to Fox News.

It is believed that these individuals requested the information on Flynn prior to Trump's inauguration, but on election day, November 8, 2016. Joe Biden is noted as having asked for the information just prior to the inauguration.

Those names include the then head of the FBI James Comey, as well as Jacob Lui and then Vice President, current Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. Also on this list are intelligence chiefs John Brennan and James Clapper, and Obama’s chief-of-staff at the time.

Grenell wrote “I declassified the enclosed document, which I am providing for your situational awareness,” to senators to whom he sent the list.

Speaking to George Stephanopoulos yesterday on "Good Morning America," Joe Biden said he wasn't aware of the fact that there was an investigation into General Michael Flynn. "I know nothing about those moves to investigate Michael Flynn," Biden said.

Biden then walked back his comments, when Stephanopoulos, and said that he was aware that an investigation had been requested. Biden's name was on the list of those released by Grenell as having asked for Flynn to be "unmasked."

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
