Lang was assaulted during a staged protest in which he was planning on burning the Quran.
Photos and videos showed blood on Lang after he was dragged from a ledge and then beaten by a mob of left-wing agitators in Minneapolis. Lang then attempted to get away from the scene in a red sedan. Video posted to X showed the left-wing protesters trying to attack him as he entered the car.
Lang posted on X that he was stabbed by “a crazie white commie leftist rioter” but that his tactical vest "blocked it."
The events come as there have been escalating tensions in Minneapolis against ICE officers following the shooting of left-wing activist Renee Good. Good had been blocking traffic in the city in an attempt to obstruct ICE. When agents approached her car, she drove into ICE agent Jon Ross, who shot in response, killing Good.
According to the New York Post, Lang arrived in Minneapolis with a handful of others and there were people counterprotesting with the Soros-backed People’s Action Coalition Against Trump across the street.
Lang said he was going to burn a Quran on the steps of the Minneapolis City Hall, but was not able to do so as the chaos ensued. As he stood on a ledge, he was dragged off by the left-wing agitators who then assaulted him.
“You’re being replaced! Do you not understand you’re being replaced!” Lang said as led his march in Minneapolis. “We deserve a future for white Americans,” he said, and added, “Send the Somalis back.”
