BREAKING: Terrorism charges laid on Ontario man who allegedly killed four Muslims with car

Nathaniel Veltman, 20, of London, will be charged with four counts of first-degree murder constituting an act of terrorism.

The crown has decided that it will seek terrorism charges against the man who allegedly drove down and killed members of a Muslim family in London, Ontario.

Nathaniel Veltman, 20, of London, will be charged with four counts of first-degree murder constituting an act of terrorism, and one count of attempted murder due to terrorism activity, reports The Canadian Press.

The family has identified those killed as Salman Afzaal, 46, his 44-year-old wife Madiha Salman, their 15-year-old daughter Yumna Afzaal and Afzaal’s 74-year-old mother.

The family's youngest son, Fayez, was injured in the incident, but is expected to recover.
