"They allowed terrorists. They allowed common street criminals. They allowed people to come in, drug dealers to come into our country."
When Trump was asked by ABC's David Muir about his plan to have the largest deportation operation in the history of the country, Trump has spoken about how local police would help in the effort. Trump hit Harris on her record on illegal immigration.
He said that the Biden-Harris administration "allowed terrorists. They allowed common street criminals. They allowed people to come in, drug dealers to come into our country."
After President Joe Biden and VP Harris took office, the administration took multiple steps to soften border security and allow for more illegal immigration.
Harris repeated that she would support the border bill that was brought Congress by the Democrats earlier in 2024. The bill would still allow at least 1.4 million illegal immigrants into the country every year.
Harris has previously stated that the perception of ICE is similar to the KKK and has suggested that the agency should start “from scratch.” In an ACLU questionnaire, Harris also said that she would support taxpayer funded sex changes for detained illegal immigrants, defund ICE, and would support the decriminalization of fentanyl and other hard drugs.
Illegal immigration has hit record numbers under the Biden-Harris administration after the White House reversed the remain-in-Mexico policy of the Trump administration and took other executive action to soften border security.
