Donald Trump stopped in Valdosta, Georgia to drop off food water, and other supplies on Monday after the devastation of Hurricane Helene. He was joined by the eldest son of Billy Graham, Franklin Graham, who is also the President and CEO of Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

After touching down in the city, Trump announced that he would be working with Graham in order to distribute food, water, and supplies with Graham's Samaritan's Purse organization.

Trump told those in Valdosta, "We came down with truckloads of things, and we're going to have that done by Franklin's incredible organization. They've done such a good job. We've done this before, but we have a lot of truckloads of different items, from oil to water, to all sorts of equipment that's going to help" those in Georgia.

He added, "We're here today to stand in complete solidarity with the people of Georgia, with all of the suffering and the terrible aftermath of Hurricane Helene." As he spoke, Trump took a minute to hold a moment of silence for those who have passed away because of the hurricane. The count of deaths was 91 when Trump gave his speech.

Further, he encouraged Americans to not make the situation political, adding "We're not talking about politics now, we all have to get together to get this solved."

Graham then spoke, offering an encouraging few words, "Yes, there are storms in life, but God will take us through those storms if we put our faith and trust in his son, Jesus Christ," and then led those present in prayer.
