GOP nominee Donald Trump has named Tulsi Gabbard as well as Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be on his presidential transition team that will broaden the coalition of support on his campaign "across party lines."

According to a report from Fox News, Trump campaign advisor Brian Hughes told the outlet, "As President Trump’s broad coalition of supporters and endorsers expands across partisan lines, we are proud that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard have been added to the Trump/Vance Transition team."

"We look forward to having their powerful voices on the team as we work to restore America’s greatness," Hughes added in the statement to the network.

In recent days, both Gabbard as well as Kennedy have endorsed Trump in his campaign against Vice President Kamala Harris for the White House. Both are former Democrats but have left behind the party.

Last week, Kennedy told reporters during a press conference, "Three great causes ... persuaded me to leave the Democratic Party, to throw my support to President Trump." The issues included free speech, the war in Ukraine, and the health of Americans. He later met with Trump onstage in Arizona for a rally, giving Trump his endorsement and support.

Then on Monday, Gabbard endorsed Trump for president as well, "Whether you're a Democrat, Republican, or an Independent, if you love our country as I do, if you cherish peace and freedom as we do, I invite you to join me in doing all that we can to save our country and elect President Donald J Trump and send him back to the White House to do the tough work of saving our country and serving the people."
