"There is to be no hesitation."
"I have ordered the United States Navy to shoot and kill any boat, small boats though they may be (Their naval ships are ALL, 159 of them, at the bottom of the sea!), that is putting mines in the waters of the Strait of Hormuz," Trump said.

There is to be no hesitation. Additionally, our mine “sweepers” are clearing the Strait right now. I am hereby ordering that activity to continue, but at a tripled up level! Thank you for your attention to this matter," he added.
Last week, after the active conflict between the US and Iran began on February 28, a segment of the Iranian regime had agreed to reopen the Strait of Hormuz after the key waterway had been shut off. However, that sign of relief quickly died off after IRGC forces said that the waterway was still shut off for commercial travel.
The moves came after a ceasefire between the Iran regime and the US was announced. Still Iran fired upon shipping in the Strait after the US stationed a blockade in the Strait.
On Wednesday, Iran fired upon three ships just days after Trump had extended the ceasefire. The standoff between the US and Iran has choked off nearly all exports of oil from Iran as well as other commercial shipping.
One challenge in clearing the waterway for commercial shipping has been that Iran ships have placed mines in the waterway. As the strait has been cut off for the past couple weeks, gas prices around the country have increased rapidly.
