BREAKING: Trump praises DOGE, Elon Musk for eliminating wasteful spending and saving Americans BILLIONS

During his speech on Tuesday evening, President Donald Trump spoke about the wasteful spending that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has uncovered, including millions of dollars for making mice transgender, DEI programs, as well as others. He praised Elon Musk, and his efforts with the DOGE team to save billions of dollars for Americans.  

"Just listen to some of the appalling waste we have already identified. $22 billion from HHS to provide free housing and cars for illegal aliens, $45 million for Diversity Equity and Inclusion scholarships in Burma. $40 million to improve the social and economic inclusion of sedentary migrants," Trump said after praising Musk for his work along with his team of DOGE staffers. 

"$8 million for making mice transgender," Trump added, leading to Republican lawmakers breaking out in laughter. "$32 million for a left-wing propaganda operation in Moldova. $10 million for male circumcision in Mozambique. $20 million for the Arab Sesame Street in the Middle East. It's a program, $20 million for a program. $1.9 billion to recently-created decarbonization of homes committee, headed up — and we know she's involved, just at the last moment, the money was passed over by a woman named Stacy Abrams."

Trump continued to list off different examples of wasteful spending in the government, particularly for programs outside of the United States. In terms of education, he then slammed funding of "$101 million for DEI contracts at the Department of Education."

He then listed off the different ages of people marked as "alive" in the Social Security database, including thousands who are supposed to be well over 100 years of age. The numbers he listed off were posted by DOGE earlier in February as an example of government waste.
