President Donald Trump has revealed that he has picked a running mate in the upcoming 2024 election. However, he reportedly said that the person he has chosen is not yet aware, nor is anyone else.

According to a post from NBC host Kaitlan Collins, Trump was asked if he has picked his running mate yet in Philly.

Trump responded, saying, "In my mind, yeah.”

When asked if the VP pick knows that it is them, Trump replied, “No, nobody knows."

Rumors about who the president has chosen for a running mate have gone around for months. Some that have been floated as possible picks by many include North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), Tulsi Gabbard, as well as many others.

During the rally Trump railed on Biden for his performance in office on topics such as crime and illegal immigration. He also touched on the topic of George Soros funding left-wing district attorneys throughout the country leading to soft-on-crime polices.

The rally was at Temple University in Philadelphia. Trump took the stage to thunderous applause when he arrived. Many in the rally held up photos of Trump’s mugshot from Fulton County jail and the tagline, “Never Surrender.”

Philly, like other cities, that Trump has recently visited have been Democrat strongholds. Other cities like that in recent weeks have included Detroit as well as the Bronx
