BREAKING: Trump says US hit 2nd boat carrying Venezuelan 'narcoterrorists'

President Donald Trump has announced that the US has struck a second boat from Venezuela carrying "narcoterrorists" to the United States. He confirmed that there were "3 male terrorists killed in action." 

Trump posted to Truth Social, "This morning, on my Orders, U.S. Military Forces conducted a SECOND Kinetic Strike against positively identified, extraordinarily violent drug trafficking cartels and narcoterrorists in the SOUTHCOM area of responsibility. The Strike occurred while these confirmed narcoterrorists from Venezuela were in International Waters transporting illegal narcotics (A DEADLY WEAPON POISONING AMERICANS!) headed to the U.S."

"These extremely violent drug trafficking cartels POSE A THREAT to U.S. National Security, Foreign Policy, and vital U.S. Interests. The Strike resulted in 3 male terrorists killed in action. No U.S. Forces were harmed in this Strike. BE WARNED — IF YOU ARE TRANSPORTING DRUGS THAT CAN KILL AMERICANS, WE ARE HUNTING YOU! The illicit activities by these cartels have wrought DEVASTATING CONSEQUENCES ON AMERICAN COMMUNITIES FOR DECADES, killing millions of American Citizens. NO LONGER. Thank you for your attention to this matter!!!" Trump added. 

Earlier this year, Trump classified a number of drug cartels as well as gangs as foreign terrorist organizations as they have been trafficking drugs into the United States, leading to the deaths of thousands of people a year. 

This second strike comes after the Trump administration announced one earlier in September. At the time he said, "We just over the last few minutes, literally, shot out a boat, a drug-carrying boat, a lot of drugs in that boat. These came out of Venezuela — and coming out very heavily from Venezuela. A lot of things are coming out of Venezuela. So we took it out, and you’ll get to see that after this meeting is over.”

Trump has cracked down on border security, illegal immigration, as well as drug trafficking as he has taken office. Both strikes had footage posted by Trump himself on Truth Social, and the administration has signaled that the White House will do it again if necessary.
