Speaking from the US southern border on Thursday, GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump announced that those found guilty of sex trafficking of women and children will receive the death penalty. Trump also highlighted the victims of border czar Kamala Harris, under whom millions of illegal immigrants have entered the country.

"With your vote, we will seal the border, stop the invasion, and launch the largest deportation effort in American history. We will impose tough new sentences on illegal alien criminals. These include a 10-year mandatory minimum sentence for anyone guilty of human smuggling, a guaranteed life sentence for anyone guilty of child trafficking, and a death penalty for anyone guilty of child or woman sex trafficking."

"We’ll also impose the death penalty on major drug dealers and traffickers in other countries on their immigration papers. There’s a statement that says 'death for drug traffickers,' big letters, big, bold letters, 10 times the size of everything else on the page."

Trump had the families of those killed by illegal immigrants in the US speak, talking about the pain and heartbreak they’ve endured following their loved ones’ deaths.

The mother of Rachel Morin, who was allegedly murdered by an illegal immigrant on a Maryland hiking trail who had reentered the US three times, broke down in tears as she recounted the day authorities told her they found her daughter’s body.

"We’re 1,800 from the border. And because of this open border, we’ve had, not just my daughter, we’ve actually had two in the same county" where illegal immigrants have raped and murdered someone.

"We should be taking care of our country, our people. And the only way I believe that's gonna happen is if President Trump is re-elected as president."

The mother of Jocelyn Nungaray also spoke out, with the 12-year-old being allegedly murdered and raped by two illegal immigrants. She recalled her daughter, saying she "had dreams to be famous," and was "her own personality."

"It’s been very hard. June 17 was the day her life was taken. She was left with no clothing from the waist down, was thrown in a bayou and left," she said, adding that "it’s still very, very raw" and "surreal."

"They had no reason to do anything that they did to Jocelyn. There was over 300 detention beds that they should have been at because they were detained and they were released when they shouldn’t have been released. One had an ankle monitor. It didn’t stop anything."
