President Donald Trump has been declared the winner of the North Dakota caucus by the AP. With 85 percent of the vote at 73 percent of votes cast, Trump is the clear winner to Nikki Haley's 14 percent.

Haley has only had one primary victory so far, and that was over the weekend when she won Washington, DC. North Dakota's caucus comes one day ahead of Super Tuesday, when Maine, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, Alabama, Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Colorado, Utah and California all cast their votes for the GOP nominee.

North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum had been in the race but dropped out and endorsed Trump. Trump is the clear projected winner for the GOP nomination and will face incumbent Joe Biden in the November general election.
