Tucker Carlson's podcast, The Tucker Carlson show, overtook Joe Rogan on the Spotify charts on Thursday to be the number one ranking podcast in the country.

Senior editor at Human Events Jack Posobiec, who appeared in one of the episodes this week, commented on the results on X.

"Congrats to Tucker and the entire incredible TCN team. I wonder if he had any good guests on this week!"

Rogan has long been the number one podcast on Spotify for quite some time, however, some of the large interviews on Carlson’s show may have put the political commentator over the top.

Posobiec as well as Dr. Ben Carson have gone onto the show the week after Biden dropped out of the race. Additionally, on July 18, Mike Cernovich appeared on The Tucker Carlson Show. Posobiec and Carlson discussed the attempted assassination on Donald Trump during the Tuesday episode. They also spoke on Kamala Harris replacing Joe Biden in the 2024 race, the shooter’s motive in the assassination attempt, and why Biden stayed out of the public eye for a week after going to Nevada.

Additionally, Posobiec discussed his new book, "Unhumans: The Secret History of Communist Revolutions and How to Crush Them," which addressed some of the topics they discussed in the interview.

"A rational person might say, 'How can you still support Communism after Communism has killed 100 million people?' right? Well, turn that back around on itself. What if killing 100 million people was the point?" Posobiec commented in the interview about the book.

Posobiec spoke to Carlson about how past Communist revolutions had been started with mass blame on groups of people coming from societal institutions, such as mass media and government bodies and compared those to mass blame placed on groups in America for issues like racism and transphobia.

Carlson and Posobiec spoke about how many of these issues that get blamed on groups in past during Communist revolutions are often “imprecise” problems that do not have an easy answer.
