Despite the increasing amounts of acceptance for the trucker convoy protest in Ottawa, Canada, big tech platforms such as Twitter have decided to crack down on people’s inspiration from the cause.

Feeling inspired by the Canadian trucker convoy protest, Katie Daviscourt of The Post Millennial suggested that the movement came to Seattle as well.

But then she said "@kcexec would have a heart attack." That’d be a reference to Dow Constantine of King County. He’s held the position of Executive since November 2009.

Twitter believed that Katie’s reference to Constantine was in some form of a rules violation and locked her out of her account for 12 hours.

A statement on the situation from Ms. Daviscourt is as follows:

"It’s evident that Twitter is suspending conservative accounts at random instead of accounts that are in true violation of their 'Twitter Rules.' I disagree with Twitter’s decision to temporarily suspend my account after voicing support for blue-collar truckers, the backbone of economic prosperity. When Iranian terrorists can tweet without violating Twitter rules, we are lost."

Ottawa officials have said "evidence is being collected" about any potential wrongdoers throughout the Freedom Convoy protest group.

"Society would come to a screeching halt without truckers. They are [the] backbone of our supply chain and should not be subjected to authoritarian mandates. I stand with the truckers!," wrote Republican Rep. Jim Banks of Indiana.

According to a report by local outlet KTSM, US truckers found inspiration from the Canadian protests to form a group of protesters themselves. They’re said to be forming a protest convoy that will go from California to Washington DC to protest mandates.

In a coincidental move, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently devoted over three million dollars in funding to the state college’s truck driving program.

High-profile people such as Elon Musk and Jordan Peterson have publicly backed the trucker convoy protest movement in Canada. In attempting to deal with the situation, Prime Minister Trudeau recently declared truckers racist after previously saying the general public should thank them for their continued existence.

This in contrast to the documented instances of protesters telling people waving Confederate flags to leave the demonstration entirely. In spite of being called racists, an Indigenous Clan Mother blessed the Freedom Convoy protest on Sunday.

Shadow Conservative MP Pierre Poilievre has condemned claims by Trudeau and others about the movement’s racism, and said that the Prime Minister needs self-reflection on the issue himself.
