According to Fox 11, a woman with a large Trump banner in Northridge CA claims a mail carrier wrote "BLM" on a piece of mail just before delivering it to her mailbox.

The woman’s neighbour’s security camera has clear footage of the mail carrier defacing the mail. She said, "His camera showed him walking to my house. He had the mail in his hand and he’s writing." The camera also shows the mail carrier in question throwing the mail on the ground at one point.

"This guy was tampering with private property mail. The manager told me they're definitely going to fire him because this is a federal offense," said the woman, who is referred to as "Donna," wanting to remain anonymous for security reasons.

"We are disappointed to see the actions of our employee, and apologize to the customers affected by this incident. The Postal Service is investigating the matter and will take appropriate action to ensure this does not occur again," Commented a representative from the USPS.

Interfering with mail and its delivery in any way, shape or form is, in fact, a federal offense in the United States of America. It's possible that this mail carrier could face fines and imprisonment for up to five years for this particular incident.
