"This is chilling," Wiener said. "Justifying murder in cold blood & advocating that 'real America' is a theocracy. These are the opinion leaders driving the MAGA movement & its leaders Trump & Musk."
California State Senator Scott Wiener had a meltdown on Sunday after hearing comments made by Jack Posobiec about former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin, convicted in the death of George Floyd. "This is chilling," Wiener said, accusing Posobiec of "justifying murder in cold blood."
Posobiec was speaking to the packed house at Turning Point USA's America Fest on Friday when he said that justice was needed for Ashli Babbit, the veteran who was killed by Capitol Police Office Michael Byrd wiht one shot on Janaury 6, 2021. Babbit was unarmed as she attempted to enter a door into the Capitol building and was shot and killed where she stood. Posobiec also called for justice for Corey Compertore, the retired fire chief killed by a would-be assassin's bullet at Trump's campaign rally in Butler, PA on July 13.
And finally he called for justice for Derek Chauvin, the officer convicted in the death of George Floyd. Chauvin was accused of kneeling on Floyd's neck during an arrest. Floyd then died in police custody. Chauvin is serving 21 years in federal prison. Floyd died with excessive amounts of drugs in his system, including fentanyl.
"Derek Chauvin did not commit murder," Posobiec said. "Derek Chauvin should not be where he is right now. The truth must come out about what happened with George Floyd. It was a lie, and it was always a lie and when Derek Chauvin is a free man I will personally lead the lawsuit against Black Lives Matter and the millions of dollars that they took from his name."
A recent ruling from US District Judge Paul Magnuson will allow Chauvin's attorneys to study autopsy heart and fluid samples from the George Floyd's post-mortem medical examination.
“Given the significant nature of the criminal case that [Chauvin] was convicted of, and given that the discovery that [he] seeks could support [the pathologist's] opinion of how Mr. Floyd died, the Court finds that there is good cause to allow [Chauvin] to take the discovery,” Magnuson said in the ruling. The attorneys will be permitted to have the samples tested, as well. Chauvin has said that his trial was a "scam."
This is chilling," Wiener said. "Justifying murder in cold blood & advocating that 'real America' is a theocracy. These are the opinion leaders driving the MAGA movement & its leaders Trump & Musk."
Wiener, a proponent of the San Francisco's annual Fulsom Street Fair, where grown men sit in a kiddie pool and pee on each other in public for sexual gratification, sponsored California's trans sanctuary state law so that children from across the country can undergo sex changes if they can get to California. He also backed a bill to allow violent male criminals to transfer into women's prisons if those males claim to be trans. One of those males, Tremaine Carroll, was recently removed from the women's prison in Chowchilla after being charged with raping female inmates.
Floyd's death, on May 25, 2020, sparked riots that lasted for the entire summer. The riots, led by Black Lives Matter activists and Antifia militants, caused billions in damage as police precincts were set aflame and entire areas of downtown cities were taken over by activists, demonstrators, and gun-toting militants. In Minneapolis and Seattle, police departments ceded entire parts of town to the mayhem of looters, rioters, and violent activists.
