Canadian journalist Rav Arora published an independent investigative report Saturday on vaccine-related side effects. The side effects Arora investigated are related explicitly to myocarditis in young males.

Arora's investigation includes numerous data tables and personal interviews with young males who are suffering from myocarditis. Although the writer's byline is most often seen in the New York Post, this particular deep dive was published on his new Substack, titled "Noble Truths With Rav Arora."

Arora independently published his piece due to the highly-censorious environment around posting COVID-19 content that may be perceived as "anti-science." Nonetheless, the preamble of the report states: "The following essay has been rigorously fact-checked by Stanford medicine professor and infectious disease expert Dr. Jay Bhattacharya. The scientific claims regarding post-vaccine Myocarditis are fully in line with the current medical literature."

"Over the past several months, I have faced insurmountable challenges in publishing my thoroughly fact-checked, interview-driven essays on post-vaccine myocarditis — an issue that concerns me personally for obvious reasons: the highest-risk population is young males," Arora states in the first paragraph.

"My inability to publish even a single article on this topic strikes me as a shameful departure from my original motivation to become a journalist a year-and-a-half ago: shedding light on stories neglected, distorted, and obscured by elite liberal media," Arora continues in the report.

What follows is a significant and eclectic piece of journalism. As verified by Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, Arora dives into multiple studies and pieces of data, outlining the prominence of heart issues among some young men who received the vaccine.

However, Arora goes a step further to investigate the prevalence of such side effects in his local Vancouver population. He outlines three cases he is personally aware of and even interviews one of them.

The 25-year-old male, who chooses to remain anonymous, describes his diagnosis of ventricular tachycardia and "high-risk" arrhythmia. The anonymous male quoted in the report says he "felt so pressured to take the vaccine" and that he "wanted to live a normal life and be able to travel where I want to."

The young male also describes his emotional struggle around his diagnosis: "And now I'm basically unable to do anything without fearing risking my heart condition…my life is ruined for at least the next few months."

In addition to dissecting the data and showcasing personal stories, Arora touches on how legacy media has treated the existence of vaccine-related illness.

Specifically, Arora outlines the dissonance between CNN and podcasting icon Joe Rogan, who recently has come under fire for platforming Dr. Robert Malone. Malone is reportedly one of the inventors of the mRNA technology used in vaccine and an outspoken critic of the current strategy of vaccines and treatment.

The crux of Arora's investigation is not only to seek out the truth but to expose the fracture in our understanding of what the truth may be. There are supposedly over 200 doctors who have signed a letter to Spotify demanding the censorship of Rogan. Meanwhile, Malone has allegedly secured the declaration of 16,000 Physicians to challenge the idea that Rogan is spreading misinformation.

What is a problem for those of us who are laypeople is that scientific consensus is deteriorating into a democratic rule of what is objectively true. Science is not politics, nor is it subjective. Yet, Arora wisely outlines how in 2022, ordinary people have to politicize their personal health choices.

"Honesty, nuance, and compassion are especially needed when it comes to personal health choices. We are only born with one body and we must make medically informed decisions at our own volition without governmental coercion or political pressure," Arora concludes in his report.

So many of us live busy lives and seldom have the time or bandwidth to investigate the data and make educated decisions. We rely on the experts, but our perception of the truth goes dark when we feel that even our experts are politically compromised. I think Arora's contribution is a beacon of light to our collective understanding and pursuit of unity around our wellbeing.

I say this as someone who is fully vaccinated, knowing Rav Arora has chosen not to be but recognizing his voice matters nevertheless.
