Canadian Trump-hating woman who slapped pro-Trump Jersey Shore teen ordered to be deported

An anti-Trump illegal immigrant from Canada has been ordered to be deported after slapping a teenage girl wearing pro-Trump clothing at the Jersey Shore. She also failed to raise the money she requested for her legal fund.  

The online fundraiser for Kaitlyn Tracey was only able to raise $4,857 out of a $10,000 goal. She was ordered to be deported back to her home country on Tuesday. Although she launched a GoFundMe, it was taken down by the company because of policy violations. A respresentative for the company said, "Consistent with this long-standing policy, any fundraisers for the legal defense of someone charged with a violent crime are removed from the platform and fully refunded," per the New York Post. 

Tracey pleaded guilty over the phone on Tuesday from an ICE facility in Toms River, Texas to one count of simple assault—a misdemeanor—as part of a plea deal. With the plea deal, she will be sent back over the US-Canada border and sentenced to one day behind bars—which she fulfilled with her time spent in Ocean County jail last month. 

Tracey was prosecuted for her actions after she was seen on video confronting a group of teenagers, including one with an America 250 tank top and "ICE" sweatpants. After getting into an argument with the pro-Trump teen, Tracey slapped her across the face.

At the time of the assault, she had overstayed her visa and was in the US illegally, according to authorities. Her visa has expired in September of 2024.

"She overstayed her visa and failed to depart," a DHS spokesperson told Fox News. "She received full due process and was ordered removed on Aug. 4 by an immigration judge to her home country of Canada. ICE will return her home as soon as possible.”
