Chad Prather and John Rich have released a new song, “Watered Down,” with lyrics blasting liberal media bias.

“In a time when many say country music has drifted from its roots and traditional American values, Chad Prather is bringing back the authenticity and heart that define the genre,” a statement from Baste Records reads. “His latest single, “Watered Down,” featuring country music legend John Rich, confronts the diluted narratives we see today and calls for a return to genuine storytelling.”

Prather is a conservative, Christian country music figure who Baste calls a “rising star in the country music scene.” The song is co-written and produced by Nashville songwriter Chris Wallin, who has worked with Toby Keith and Kenny Chesney.

Baste Records has recently released some big viral hits, including a song by Afroman reworking his classic “Because I Got High” and changing it to “Hunter Got High.” The song’s music video has been viewed nearly 3 million times since it was released five months ago.
