"His assassination has galvanized so many young people around this country."
As of Tuesday, according to data from Apple, Charlie Kirk's show was at the top as the number 1 podcast in the category of "All Podcasts" as well as "New" podcast categories. Although Kirk died on September 10, there have been multiple tribute shows to Kirk in the days following the assassination. One was from his wife Erika Kirk, as well as an appearance from Vice President JD Vance.
In addition to the podcasts, two of the top 10 books on Amazon were by Kirk, including "Stop in the Name of God," at the number one best seller, and "The College Scam," at the sixth spot on Amazon.
Turning Point USA, the nonprofit organization started by Kirk, was also seeing some traction in the days since his death. According to Andrew Kolvet, spokesman for TPUSA, the organization has had over 37,000 requests to start new TPUSA chapters around the country at colleges and at high schools.
"They just keep pouring in. And I think that's just a testament to how Charlie's message, his legacy... And, ultimately, his assassination has galvanized so many young people around this country," Kolvet said in an interview with Fox Business.
32,000 of those requests were made in just 48 hours, Kolvet said on X over the weekend.
"I wanted to share a praise report from TPUSA. The organization has received over 32,000 inquiries in the last 48-hours to start new campus chapters. To put that in perspective, TPUSA currently has 900 official college chapters and around 1,200 high school chapters, with a presence on 3,500 total. Charlie's vision to have a Club America chapter (our high school brand) in every high school in America (around 23,000) will come true much much faster than he could have ever possibly imagined.
Kirk has been able to galvanize millions of young conservatives with the organization, which has become a powerhouse in the conservative movement.
