The model son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, Presley Gerber, is dead at 27 years old. He was pronounced dead at an undisclosed rehab facility. "The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time," a representative for the family said in a statement to TMZ. An autopsy has not yet been completed, he died at the rehab center according to the medical examiner.

Gerber was arrested for DUI in 2019. He was sentenced to three years of probation, 2 days of community service, and ordered to take part in a DUI program. At the time of his arrest, he pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge.

In 2024, Presley revealed that he had been battling an opioid addiction and that an overdose on fentanyl had left him in a coma for multiple days. He later went to rehab and has been on and off psychiatric drugs.

He was the Hollywood couple's only son. They also have a daughter, Kaia Gerber, model and actress. He had followed in his mother's footsteps with his modeling career and had signed with IMG Models when he was a teenager, per Page Six.

Born in 1999, Gerber grew up in Beverly Hill, California, he made his debut on the runway for Moschino in Los Angeles at age 17 and also appeared on international campaigns for companies such as Calvin Klein and Celine.

As he was beginning to come grips with his drug habits, he got a tattoo on his face in 2020 that read "Misunderstood."

"If I thought this was going to ruin my face or I didn't want this, I wouldn't have done it. I think that's a pretty obvious thing," he said in an Instagram video at the time. "It says misunderstood, because that's how I felt my entire life." He later had the tattoo removed.
