Sophie Cunningham says FBI is monitoring 20 people suspected of stalking her

Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham revealed in a recent podcast appearance that the FBI is keeping its eyes on around 20 people over concerns involving the WNBA star. Cunningham said that she has had to deal with stalkers, with one currently being in jail.
Speaking with Theo Von on the This Past Weekend podcast, Cunningham said, “The more you're visible on TV, you're gonna get more fans. Like people are gonna know who you are, and that's a really great thing. But there's also a lot of, like, kind of crazy people too that, like, we do have a lot of stalkers. I know I do, and like, that's the negative side of things that people don't think about. And so you do want to feel secure, but.”

View on XVon asked if she has had any stalkers, to which Cunningham replied, “Oh my gosh, yeah. Like, I we'll have to check if I'm even allowed to say this, but like, I, like have, I think 20 I think people kind of that the FBI are watching for me, me alone.”
Von asked for names, with Cunningham initially saying that she wasn’t allowed to reveal them, but that one was “locked away now.” She added, “actually, this is public knowledge. Yeah, his name's Kevin, and the worst part about that is like I have a miniature donkey named Kevin, and now I'm like, well, sh*t. Do I need to rename Kevin?”
A producer noted that a judge had denied a bail reduction for the man she was referring to just two hours before the podcast appearance. “Good work judge,” said Cunningham.
Per the Indianapolis Star, Kevin Singh, 49, faces stalking, harassment and intimidation charges in Marion County. In an October 23 hearing, the judge denied a bail reduction.
During the hearing, Singh’s attorney said that Singh had been assaulted in the Marion County Jail, and argued that he be moved for his safety. The attorney said this could be accomplished if he posted bail, which had been set at $40,000. He has been held in the jail since his June 23 arrest.
Singh has been accused of sending sexually explicit messages to Cunningham, and making threats against John Ball, the vice president of security for Pacers Sports and Entertainment.
Before the Cunningham case, Singh had accepted a plea deal in March of 2024 in a separate case in Hendricks County that saw him placed on probation. The June 23 arrest violated that probation, and he thus has an arrest warrant in Hendricks County. If he were to post bail, he would be transferred to Hendricks County custody.
