Chad Hummel won a huge victory recently after being acquitted last week on charges stemming from an incident where attended his son's baseball game, outdoors, and did not wear a mask.

The bench trial took place in Rochester New York, and reportedly, it took four hours for Judge Joseph Valentino to hear the whole case and decide in Hummel's favor.

"Mr. Hummel is pleased with the verdict and he is thankful for the court‘s thoughtful legal decision," read a release from Hummel's attorneys obtained by The Daily Wire, which went on to indicate that Hummel is not finished with the issue.

Hummel further intends to sue the Rochester school district over both the incident and the district's ensuing decision to ban Hummel from the school, which could have kept him from attending his son's graduation.

Hummel believes that there was false testimony given during the trial, but, per the release, "Hummel cannot elaborate on their identity or the nature of the untrue testimony as he prepares for the civil lawsuit to come and believes that the civil litigation is the appropriate forum for that truth to come out."

Hummel claims that he was incorrectly ordered to leave by the school, as at the time of the baseball game, he was already in compliance with all COVID regulations, since the game was outdoors. He was socially distancing as was required, and there was no outdoor mask mandate in effect.
