Dan Bongino teed off on Washington Post reporter Jeremy Barr in an email published to Twitter on Tuesday.

The tweet was posted by Barr after publishing a report over his vaccine mandate response. In the email, Bongino asks if Barr is a "dipshit all the time, or just on weekdays?"

"Are you a dipsh*t all the time, or just on weekdays?" Bongino asked. "Do you even listen to my show where I explained what’s going on? Or is your oddly shaped head so far up your ass that you can’t hear? Given that you’re a chump, and a coward, who has never stood for a single thing in your entire sorry life, I’m not surprised you left out all of the relevant details of the story. Lose my email, and don’t bother contacting me again. Thanks, and have a Merry Christmas. Off to the spam file labeled 'media dipsh*ts' you go."

The strongly-worded disagreement stems from Bongino's stance on opposing vaccine mandates. While being vaccinated himself, Bongino says he is does not support the company's mandate.

The Washington Post article focused on Bongino’s conflict with Cumulus Media, the company that syndicates his radio program. Bongino has publicly stated that he is vaccinated, but strongly opposed the company’s vaccine mandate, also threatening to leave the company unless something changed from within.

"A lot has happened since then, but not much has changed for Bongino and his bosses," wrote Barr. "He is still hosting the same show, even though Cumulus Media does not appear to have changed its mandate. That’s led some radio hosts and industry observers to question Bongino’s commitment to his ultimatum."

Bongino has since said that he will not receive a booster, even if Cumulus demands one of him.
