In a livestream from a protest put on by the anti-Israel organization ANSWER Coalition, a crowd of protestors, including Democratic congressional staffers, joined in a chant, yelling, "Bloody Blinken! Genocide Joe!"

A clip taken from the stream shows a protestor leading the crowd in the chant.

As the protestor led the chant from on stage another stood next to him communicating the chant in sign language.

After blaming the administration of President Joe Biden, the man introduced a group of congressional staffers. "Without further ado, I'll invite the congressional staff up first."

The staffer who approached the stand to speak was congressional staffer Ishmael Abuabara, who introduced himself, saying, "My name is Ishmael, and I'm a Palestinian American congressional staffer."

Abuabara is a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Joaquin Castro (D-TX), according to his LinkedIn profile.

He began to speak about how congressional staffers are joining the "majority of Americans" who are "demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza."

"I speak for staffers across Capitol Hill, Democrats, Republicans, and Independents," Abuabara claimed. "Many of us have dissented and protested since October 7."

"We're the ones who answer your calls and emails," Abuabara said of his experience working the congressional office.

Others in the congressional staff group on stage held signs saying, "Congress, your staff demands a ceasefire."

Democrat and Republican congressional offices have been inundated with calls and emails from multiple activism campaigns from organizations such as the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights and others since the attack on Israel on Oct. 7. Some of these messages are also asking staffers to protest the decisions their representatives have made, according to a source familiar with the matter.

Thousands of protestors marched in the streets of DC and around with signs saying slogans such as "ceasefire now" as well as "END ISRAELI 4P4RTHEID."

The ANSWER Coalition posted a video of other areas of the protest demonstrators chanted, "Resistance is justified, when people are occupied."
