The Democrats are attempting to appeal to men with an outrageous new pro-pornography advert, showing a man masturbating to an adult video before being interrupted by a Republican politician.

The 30-second ad is titled “Republicans Rubbing You The Wrong Way” and is by the Progress Action Fund and Defend the Vote.

The video features a man practicing self-pleasure before an actor portraying a Republican politician enters the room and takes away his cell phone.

“I’m your Republican congressman,” the actor says. “Now that we’re in charge, we’re banning porn nationwide.” He continues to say, “I won the last election, so it’s my decision. I’m just going to watch and make sure you don’t finish illegally.”

The ad will be shown on television, streaming services, and across seven battleground states — Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada.

The ad, which was first shared with The Hill, uses the fact that several states have tightened access to pornography, including measures by 19 states that require age verification to access online pornography. It specifically targets young men, a demographic that both parties are courting. The Democrats have also attempted to appeal to the young male vote by buying out ads for gambling sites and by appearing on video-gaming stream site Twitch.

The ad has sparked backlash, with some noting that the Dems are appealing to men by speaking to harmful addictions and vices.

Harris also launched ads on sports betting and video game platforms, according to NBC News. Her campaign is running ads on DraftKings, marking the first time a candidate has advertised on the platform, as well as on Yahoo Sports, IGN, and Fandom.

The ads feature 30-second spots with celebrities like NBA legend Magic Johnson and actor Ben Stiller. In one ad, Johnson discusses Harris’ economic plans, saying, “Let’s break down Kamala’s economic plan. She has a plan to cut taxes for over 100 million Americans. Now let’s look at the other guy. He’s a failed businessman, plain and simple.”

"You know this election is a lot like dodgeball. Kamala Harris is the average Joe underdog and … Ha No, this isn’t a time for jokes. You know what? It’s way too important. Donald Trump wants to terminate the Constitution. Project 2025 will give him nearly unlimited power. We can’t let him get anywhere near the White House. So, vote for Kamala Harris."

This ad push comes as Trump maintains a polling lead among men.
