Toronto police say one man was transported to hospital following a drive-by shooting that took place on Highway 401, reports CP24.
A vehicle was exiting Highway 401 at Keele Street around midnight when another vehicle approached and began shooting, say police.
The male driving the first vehicle received injuries and was taken to the hospital. According to paramedics, he was seriously injured but is expected to survive.
No information on possible suspects has been released by investigators at this time.
The area and some of Highway 401 was closed for investigation on Friday morning but has since reopened.
