Dominion Voting Systems, whose machines were widely used in these past elections, has announced plans to sue lawyer Sidney Powell for defamation.

The company has also manifested that it is exploring the possibility of suing President Trump and others such as Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani in connection with the accusations thrown against them.

According to Axios, Dominion alleges that many of their employees have received numerous death threats, and that Powell's rhetoric has affected their ability to do business.

Reportedly, one employee has not been able to go back to his own home for some time now due to fearing for his life.

Dominion CEO John Poulos said on an Axios podcast:

"Our focus right now is on Sidney Powell, and there's a very good reason for that. She is by far, in our opinion, the most egregious and prolific purveyor of the falsities against Dominion. Her statements have caused real damage. They are demonstrably false. In our opinion, it's extremely easy to verify that we were not created in Venezuela. That's just one of the many crazy allegations against us".

Powell and others have been alleging that US-based Dominion, along with another similar company, Smartmatic, are "corrupt" companies with ties to and biases in favor of the Democratic party.

The company also has ties to countries such as China and Venezuela.

Powell hasn't been an official part of the Trump campaign for quite some time now, although she has continued to work on her own against the Democrat party and in favor of overturning the elections.
