Mark Meckler, the President of the Convention of the States, said, "These results dovetail with our earlier polling where voters identified human trafficking as the biggest tragedy stemming from our uncontrolled southern border. Voters rightly realize that not only is not enough being done to end this crisis, but the Biden Administration's policies on the southern border are allowing it to grow worse."
A poll done by the Convention of States Action and the Trafalgar Group shows that 80 percent of American voters see human trafficking as a major problem. They do not think that enough has been done to address it.
This includes 68.9 percent of Democrats, 78.9 percent of independents, and 90.3 percent of Republicans.
There is large bipartisan support for more action to be taken regarding the issue. Recently, Sens. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) worked together on a new proposed bill called the SAVE girls act.
The poll was "conducted June 5th through June 9th [with] over 1,000 likely general election voters."
The demographic that seemed most concerned in the poll, are those just above 18 years old. 94.8 percent of all responders from this age ground answered "yes" when they were asked if they believed that human trafficking was a major problem and not enough was being done. Only 5.2 percent were unsure, and not a single person who answered in the category thought it was a non-issue.
The Convention of States Action's mission is to "restore a culture of self-governance in America and to curtail federal overreach."

Meckler expects the polling to become even more compelling after the upcoming July 4 release of a movie on the topic, entitled Sound of Freedom.
Produced by Eduardo Verastegui and Angel Studios, the Sound of Freedom movie is based on the true story of Tim Ballard.
Ballard founded the organization, Operation Underground Railroad (OUR) to help fight child sex slavery in the modern day. Starring Jim Caviezel, it depicts one of the first missions of OUR and the restoration of a family which was torn apart by sex slavery.
