Kyle Adam Carrozza, 45, of Burbank, has been accused of possessing over 600 images of child pornography.
A leftist children's cartoonist who worked as an animator for Cartoon Network, Disney, Nickelodeon, and PBS Kids has been arrested on child sex crime charges in Burbank, California.
Kyle Adam Carrozza, 45, of Burbank, was taken into custody on June 20 and has been charged with two counts of possession of child pornography. He has been accused of possessing over 600 images of sexually explicit photographs or videos of children, court documents show.
According to jail records, Carrozza was released without bail on the felony charges. His arrest came after the Burbank Police Department executed a search warrant at his home, USA Today reported.
Carrozza created the animated online children's series "Mighty Magiswords" on Cartoon Network in 2015. He was an executive producer and composer of the series and voiced dozens of characters, including one of its main characters, Prohyas Robert Warrior.
Carrozza also worked as an animator and storyboard artist on several additional children's networks such as Disney, Nickelodeon, and PBS Kids. This includes "The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water," "Adventure Time," "Doc McStuffins," "Fish Hooks," "Teen Titans Go!," "Danger Rangers," "Fanboy & Chum Chum," and the 2020 "Animaniacs" reebot.
