Left-wing streamer Hasan Piker has been temporarily banned from the livestreaming platform Twitch after calling for people to kill Senator Rick Scott (R-Florida) in a recent stream.

Piker, whose channel is called HasanAbi, said during a recent Twitch stream while discussing Medicaid, "if you cared about Medicaid fraud, you will kill Rick Scott," per Comicbook.

Piker wrote on Monday regarding the temporary ban, "im sorry! ill choose my words carefully next time & say 'if mike johnson cares abt medicare fraud (since he wants to cut 800m from medicaid/medicare) he’d call for MAX PUNISHMENT for current fl gop senator/former gov rick scott- who has done the most medicare fraud in us history!"

He posted screenshots news stories and a Department of Justice press release from the time that stated HCA Inc., the largest private hospital company in the US, settled with the DOJ and agreed to pay a hefty fine of $1.7 billion. Scott was CEO of HCA Inc. at the time.

As of Monday evening, Piker’s Twitch page showed the message, "This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service."

A Fox News review of Piker’s account published in late 2024 found that Piker has downplayed the October 7 massacre undertaken by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas against Israel, that Hamas was the "lesser evil" compared to Israel's military, and that a second 9/11 terrorist attack would be "so sick."

In a May 22, 2024 stream, Piker said, "It doesn’t matter if f*cking rapes happened on October 7. It doesn’t change the dynamic [of Palestinians and Israelis] for me," per Fox News. Piker, a Turkish American, is the nephew of far-left commentary show The Young Turks’ co-creator Cenk Uygur, and his streams regularly hit over one million views.

In one stream just days after the October 7, 2023 massacre, Piker said in response to a viewer that challenged his position on the war, "You want every single Palestinian to be f*cking executed ruthlessly on the streets so that you can build another f*cking theme park on Gaza. You f*cking baying pig, you f*cking bloodthirsty, violent pig dog. Suck my d*ck."

Piker has claimed that he is not aligned with Hamas and called the October 7 attacks "one of the most unjustifiable and unimaginable and ongoing acts of cruelty." He said, however, during an April 18, 2024 stream that Hamas was the "lesser evil" compared to the Israeli military.

"Hamas unironically is the lesser evil of the two. If you look at the civilian casualties, if you look at the civilian deaths versus the deaths of soldiers, Hamas's percentages are infinitely better than Israel. That's just facts. So no, Hamas is the lesser evil," he said.

He has also claimed that "9/11 2" would be "so sick" during comments on the US making a civil nuclear agreement with Saudi Arabia. "Oh my god, 9/11 2 is going to be so sick. Give Saudi Arabia a nuke so they can do 9/11 2," he said during the April 18 stream.
