At the University of California-Berkeley Wednesday, an activist drenched a Turning Point USA student tabling event featuring detransitioner Chloe Cole and parental rights advocate Harrison Tinsley.

Video of the incident showed the person throwing tomato juice on a sign for the event, the table, and people. "You worried I’m going to stain your f*cking signs that are telling lies to people?" the person said. The sign read, "Kids can't change their gender, change my mind."

"Aww, so sorry," the person added before dumping more juice on the sign, shrugging, and walking back a ways from the stand. "I f*cking tried to talk to you a**holes," the person added, before circling back to dump the remainder of the bottle on the sign, those sitting at the table, and the banners behind the table.

The woman recording attempted to prevent more juice being thrown at the stand, saying, "Can you please not do that, this is our stuff. We are allowed to be here we have a permit."

After being informed that the group had a permit and right to be there and attempting to prevent others from filming, the person threw the bottle and walked off.

Following the incident, Cole wrote on X, "He drenched a chapter member and his MacBook. You still can’t change your gender, and you can’t expect me to believe someone like this is mature enough to make life-changing decisions."

Cole added in a follow-up post, "The perpetrator was detained. I will do my best to press charges."

Cole has spoken out about her experience with undergoing sex change procedures and detransitioning, and has worked to prevent more minors from undergoing irreversible procedures like she did.

Cole was put on puberty blockers and testosterone at age 13, had a double mastectomy at 15, and then detransitioned at 16. She testified before Congress in 2023 that doctors had told her parents "that they could have a dead daughter or alive transgender son," and has spoken out about how her parents were also duped by the medical and mental health industry into believing that sex change was the right course of action for their daughter.
