Photos have started to circulate around the internet and social media, showing young men and teens kneeling on the necks of their friends, captioning it with "George Floyd Challenge," which has drawn strong condemnation from all sane people on the internet.
Many white teens who appear to be teenagers can be seen smiling in photos as they kneel on the necks of their friends.
This has led to appropriate backlash, with Twitter users expressing their condemnation.
Grayson Rowles took to Twitter, saying: "As if what’s going isnt sad enough, people are really making this a form of humor and entertainment. If anyone knows these people I highly recommend blurting out because “George Floyd challenge is absolutely disgusting!!!!!!!"
With another saying: There is a George Floyd Challenge now?
The user @KeniWhite wrote: "I am DISGUSTED!!!!! A George Floyd Challenge?!?!! Are you kidding me?! THIS IS WHY WE ARE ANGRY!!! THIS IS WHY WE PROTEST!!! THESE PEOPLE THINK IT’S A DAMN GAME!!"
