"We have digitized it to create the first independent, proprietary, AI-driven American historical library, complete with its own librarian. We call him George."
He announced the program on Monday during his radio show, where he stated, “This is my next and final step in my career, and it is the culmination of everything that I have done and built. This is the moment that I try to pass the torch to you."
Beck addressed the project with Megyn Kelly, and said, "What I helped do to the mainstream media. I hope to do that to our mainstream education process." The platform will feature a "librarian" powered by AI.
Beck commented on the developments, "For nearly two decades I have been collecting the physical evidence of America's soul. Documents. Letters. Artifacts. The true story of who we are. That library is now the third largest private collection of founding documents in the world. We have digitized it to create the first independent, proprietary, AI-driven American historical library, complete with its own librarian. We call him George."
According to the Deseret News, the answers and materials on the platform will be based solely on the writings of George Washington, other writings from the founders, the books they would have read as well as the sermons they would have listened to at the time.
The tool will not have the ability to make false claims about the founding fathers, as it will only rely on primary sourced materials. "This is the final chapter of my career, to try to restore curiosity,” Beck said. “Try to restore the ability to ask questions about history and then get honest results back without any bias, just based on actual documents.”
The archive of documents is split between locations in Idaho as well as Texas, and Beck hopes to utilize AI and the proprietary database to ensure that those "facts and artifacts will never, ever be lost, unless you want to shut down the entire internet."
