A group of Ontarians have been arrested for child pornography and human trafficking after a year-long investigation by the London police.

Despite the scope of the investigation and the severity of the charges, police are concerned that there may be more victims, according to a local news outlet.

In the summer of 2020, London police began investigating trafficking investigations. The woman who was the victim of the alleged trafficking was sold for sexual purposes when she was just 16. The woman in question is now 18-years-old.

A 28-year-old man from Cambridge, Ontario called Jordan Hawke has since been charged with nine trafficking and assault charges.

Since then, police from across Ontario arrested and charged five more people in relation to these allegations.

On top of this, an additional 34 charges were laid on Friday in relation to these allegations. A 29-year-old from Brampton was charged with trafficking and child pornography.

A 53-year-old and a 20-year-old from Cambridge were also charged with this, alongside a 28-year-old with no fixed address.

All of these individuals are expected to appear in court over the coming months. Police are asking the public for more information relating to these allegations.
