"There is only one solution: Intifada revolution."
The action was organized by the Palestinian Youth Movement, the Party for Socialism and Liberation, and the People’s Forum, according to The New York Post. Radicals blocked intersections and marched down streets chanting "There is only one solution: Intifada revolution."
Before the Oct. 7 massacre in Israel, pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel groups would call for an "intifada," or an armed uprising, often against the US and Israel. Since then, the calls have grown louder on US soil, with many university students joining the effort to call for death and destruction to both Israel and the IS. During the 2000 intifada in Israel, Palestinian terrorists killed over 1,000 people including Jews, Christians, and Muslims.
The Times of Israel reported that activists in New York on New Year's Day carried signs that read, “End Zionism,” “No war on Iran,” and “End all US aid to Israel.” To hide their identities, many wore masks or wrapped themselves in keffiyehs, a scarf popularized by mass murdering terrorist leader of the Palestinian Liberation Organization Yasser Arafat.
One speaker told the mob, “2024 was a year of struggle against the crime of Zionism. We will be here every single year for generation after generation until total liberation and return.” In practice, this means the eradication of Israel.
A video posted on social media showed an activist draped in a keffiyeh shouting at counter-protestors, “We’re sending you back to Europe you white b*ches. Go back to Europe! Go back to Europe.”
The crowd also chanted “We will honor all our martyrs,” meaning dead terrorists.
The protest was mere hours after terrorist Shamsud-Din Jabbar drove a pickup truck into a crowd of people celebrating New Year’s Eve on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, killing at least 15 people. He had an ISIS flag with him as well as explosives.
The 42-year-old suspected terrorist, who traveled to Egypt for 10 days last year, was killed during a gunfight with police. Three more bombs were found nearby in the French Quarter. Federal and local authorities believe Jabbar did not act alone. Officials are looking for four to five additional suspects in this case.
