Admissions in the latest investigation from James O'Keefe at OMG have been denied altogether by a Fed economist caught on camera.
In the latest O'Keefe Media Group (OMG) investigation, Principal Economist at the Federal Reserve Aurel Hizmo has denied many things he readily admitted on hidden camera.
Hizmo was recorded in OMG footage as saying that Jerome Powell wants to have a legacy as “somebody who held the line” against former President Donald Trump. He has denied this and many other admissions caught on hidden camera.
Hizmo was approached by an OMG reporter who put O'Keefe on the phone with Hizmo. O'Keefe asked him about his comments about Powell wanting to stop Trump to which he replied, "I never said that."
During the hidden camera portion of OMG's investigation, Hizmo was asked if Powell wanted to go down in history and have a legacy. Hizmo said that Powell wanted to be remembered "as somebody who held the line, against like Trump, like somebody who like helped the economy."
Hizmo said that he would not comment on the matter at all.
When asked if he was lying, Hizmo responded saying, "I'm not lying. I'm not giving you any comments."
He reiterated that he does not talk to Jerome Powell despite his claims that he helped to write a portion of Powell's speech for the Federal Reserve Bank.
When pressed for more answers on the speech that he told an OMG journalist that he helped write, he replied, "I don't know who you are. I think you're just making stuff up."
O'Keefe asked him over the phone, "Do you work for the Federal Reserve?"
Hizmo told him, "I'm not talking to you anymore," after he was asked the general question about his employment.
