'IAmTheHoldout' goes viral on X after lone male juror prevents Lindsay Clancy not-guilty verdict

In the wake of a mistrial being declared in the case of Lindsay Clancy, the hashtag “IAmTheHoldout” began trending on X, referencing the lone male juror who held out against the 11 other jurors on the panel who wanted a not-guilty verdict for the Massachusetts mother charged with killing her two kids.

Among those using the hashtag was journalist Lara Logan, who wrote, “One juror stood up for three children who were murdered by their mother. ONE. When did we stop protecting children at all costs?”

Citizens Alliance CEO Cliff Maloney wrote, “All it takes is one juror who is sane to maintain the US Justice system. Thank God the Founders understood this.”

Before the mistrial was declared late Friday afternoon, Jack Posobiec urged on Human Events Daily for his viewers, “Send power to the holdout. Focus your energies. Focus your prayers. Focus your spiritual warfare on supporting the holdout because this man is holding out for our society. This man is holding out for everything that we have fought to hold dear in our country and our entire civilization.”

He said the jury’s forewoman was likely “bullying” and “badgering” the lone holdout using longhouse tactics. Those tactics, he explained, “is when you have toxic feminists in charge of a society, or in charge of an organization, or in charge of a group of people. This is what they do because it’s a common longhouse tactic where they turn around and they claim, ‘Oh, well, you’re not actually eligible to be part of the group anyway, since you won’t go along. So we are going to kick you out.'” 

“So that's what they're trying to do. They're trying to kick the holdout off the jury now, rather than allow him to be there and actually have his own opinion.” Defense Attorney Kevin Reddington had urged Judge William Sullivan to remove the lone juror.
