Florida police are on the search for a man who allegedly filmed two women in a department store restroom, which resulted in a viral confrontation.

The incident occurred at a Marshalls in St. Johns Town Center on March 12 and the Jacksonville Sheriffs Department said they are on the hunt for the perpetrator who has been accused of felony voyeurism.

According to police, two women said that they noticed a man using his phone to record them in the bathroom stall while they were using the restroom, per Action News Jax.

The suspect was confronted by multiple shoppers after he exited the restroom, and they accused him of filming the women, according to a video published to TikTok.

"No, you need to stay," a woman can be heard saying to the perpetrator in the video as a group surrounded him.

"Don't let him leave!" the woman yelled as the man began to run away.

The suspect exited the store and authorities were unable to locate his whereabouts. However, store surveillance footage, along with video of the confrontation, provided a suspect description.

The suspect is described as a white male with reddish strawberry-blonde hair who was wearing purple-clear glasses at the time of the incident.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office put out a notice asking the public for help in identifying the suspect who they said is wanted for video voyeurism, which is secretly recording an individual in an intimate setting.

A spokesperson for Marshalls told Action News Jax in a statement: "At Marshalls, the safety and security of our Associates and customers is a top priority for us. We are aware of the incident that took place in our Jacksonville Marshalls restroom earlier this month, and deeply regret our customers’ experience. We have been in contact with the customers involved to check in with them directly. Additionally, we thank the Jacksonville Police for their quick response and will continue to cooperate with them during their investigation."
