Parents were warned to remove social media apps including TikTok and Instagram from their children’s cell phones after the news that Hamas terrorists plan to release videos of Israeli hostages begging for their lives.

Israelis were informed on Monday to have their children remove the apps. Many American Jewish schools followed their lead and sent similar emails suggesting their parent bodies do the same.

Aside from the graphic content being viewed by children, concerns have been raised that because of social media algorithms, once one watches such a video, similar content will automatically pop up on a user’s feed which will get more views for the terrorists atrocities.

Since the initial invasion of the Jewish state over the weekend, Hamas has been posting videos of terrorists committing barbaric acts on social media platforms such as Telegram.

According to The New York Times, at least 150 Israelis have been taken hostage. Many hostages are from other countries as well including the US, yet the Biden administration has been unable to ascertain the exact number.

A Hamas spokesman claimed the terrorists had hidden “dozens of hostages” in “safe places and the tunnels of the resistance,” while Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said that he would not discuss the hostages, “…until the end of the battle.”

The notifications to parents went out before news broke that on Tuesday that Hamas terrorists had murdered and decapitated at least 40 babies in a kibbutz in southern Israel.

Nicole Zedeck from i24 News reporting from Kfar Aza, said it was “hard to even explain exactly the mass casualties that happened right here.”

She added that she saw “baby cribs thrown to the side” and “strollers left behind” after over 70 terrorists raided the community on Saturday.

According to The Guardian, an Israeli man who saw a video of his wife and two daughters taken by Hamas terrorists said, “My two little girls, they’re only babies. They’re not even five years old and three years old.”
