Matt Walsh appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast earlier this week to discuss gender ideology, during which time they spoke at length about Jon Stewart, calling out his hypocrisy regarding his support for medicalized gender transitions.

Rogan and Walsh were referencing an interview that Stewart conducted with Leslie Rutledge, Attorney General for Arkansas, wherein he forcefully attempts to reeducate her on the topic of medicalized gender transitions for children and teens. Arkansas banned the practice last year.

Walsh described the whole interview as "frustrating to watch because it was total nonsense. He was burning down a whole bunch of straw men."

He went on to analyze the crux of the argument, saying that "[Jon Stewart's] whole thing with her was just about the medical consensus and he kept saying, well, all these, all these doctors say that we should be transitioning kids. So who are you to say, say otherwise?"

"The mistake that she made was to play that game," he said, referring to the medical consensus argument.

"Once you do that, you're going to lose because it is true that the medical industry has largely bought into this," Walsh continued, pointing out that the incentive to speak out in support of medicalized gender transitions is largely a financial one. "So the only people we should trust about the questions of gender affirmation are the ones who have a financial stake in it. That doesn't make any sense to me."

There is a lot of money to be made in the medicalized gender transition industry, and hospitals and medical centers across the country have launched promotional videos to sell their sex-change services to kids and their parents.

The American Medical Association demanded last month that the Biden administration censor, investigate, and prosecute journalists who question or criticize the practice of drugging and surgically mutilating minors under the guise of "gender-affirming care".

The two men had plenty of praise for Attorney General Leslie Rutledge, with Walsh saying that "what she is doing to protect kids is great. I mean, she's a great American for doing that. And she has a lot of political courage."
