A trans-identifying man from Bloomington, Ill., recently received an 87-year sentence after confessing to child grooming and two counts of sexual assault against a child under the age of 13. Michelle Blessent, a biological male who formerly went by James, received 42 years for each sexual account count and another three years for grooming.
