On Friday, it was revealed that Donald Trump would once again be making an appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

His talk at this year's conference, set to take place between February 21 and 24 in Washington, DC, will break the record for most appearances set by fellow former president Ronald Reagan.

"President Trump will break the Reagan record by appearing at our major conference for a 14th time," Matt Schlapp said in a post on X. "Thanks Mr. President #47!"

The list of confirmed speakers also includes Rep. Elise Stefanik, billionaire-turned-presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, Arizonan Kari Lake, and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

During his speech at the conference last year in Maryland, Trump got the audience going by declaring, "I am your retribution."

"In 2016, I declared: I am your voice," he said at the beginning of his 100 minute address. "Today, I add: I am your warrior. I am your justice, and for those who have been wronged and betrayed: I am your retribution."

"We are going to finish what we started," he added. "We started something that was a miracle. We’re going to complete the mission, we’re going to see this battle through to ultimate victory. We’re going to make America great again."

While the former president was already leading the polls at the time, in the months since all but one of his major competitors has dropped out of the race. Though Nikki Haley is holding on to hopes of receiving the Republican nomination, Trump still has a multi-dozen point lead over her in most states and nationally.
