Kamala Harris was pre-taping a pro-abortion discussion with the often-explicit "Call Her Daddy" podcast on Tuesday, the same day Iran bombed Israel as the still-increasing death count from Hurricane Helene was rising.

According to The Hill, the campaign told the outlet that Harris sat down with the host Alex Cooper to discuss abortion and that the episode is set to air next week, although the day for the podcast launch was not revealed.

On Tuesday, the same day Harris was recording on the often-explicit podcast, search and rescue crews with cadaver dogs were looking for dead bodies in North Carolina. Fox Weather reports that the death count has reached at least 232 people who died from the disaster of the Hurricane. Hundreds are still unaccounted for as well.

By 9:32 AM on Tuesday, Axios reporter Barak Ravid reported that a White House told him: “The United States has indications that Iran is preparing to imminently launch a ballistic missile attack against Israel." Later that day, Iran launched an attack with around 180 ballistic missiles.

The pre-taped recording of a podcast the same day such disastrous events are taking place may raise questions by many regarding Harris' judgment and priorities surrounding foreign and domestic affairs. The Biden-Harris administration has been heavily criticized for its response to Hurricane Helene, which made landfall last weekend. Harris at the time was on her way to campaign in the western US and Joe Biden was at his beach home in Delaware.

Additionally, there have been widespread reports about the $640 million FEMA used to pay for housing illegal immigrants around the United States, although the funding for the shelters was set aside earlier this year. This comes as Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas admitted on Wednesday that the agency does not have enough funds to make it through the rest of the Hurricane season.

Recent episodes from the “Call Her Daddy” podcast include the topics of “blow jobs,” “frat daddies,” and “threesomes.”
