"I think that any doctor who performs that kind of gender mutilation on our young people should get thrown in prison, and throw away the key, and lock them up."
Speaking to the crowd of young female conservatives at Turning Point USA’s Young Women’s Leadership Summit on Sunday, Kari Lake slammed "creepy" teachers pushing gender ideology and sexual orientation on young students.
One audience member asked Kari how and when to speak to young kids in their lives about sex, "considering how kids are learning about sex and vulgar ideas at an increasingly young age."
"This is one of the saddest things that I have learned about this happening in your generation," Lake responded.
She stated that when growing up, if a teacher brought up their sex life, "it would have been grounds for them being fired and probably run out of town."
"We shouldn’t be burdening our young children with this kind of nonsense, especially the confusion."
Lake said that this is "psychological abuse," noting that if a teacher feels compelled to talk about their sex life, others’ sex lives, "anything that’s going to have a kid thinking about stuff that is really inappropriate for their age, then you really shouldn’t be a teacher. You’re just plain creepy. And we don’t want that."
Lake said to "lead by example," saying that she encourages parents to pull their kids out of schools where inappropriate topics are being taught. She urged people to still show up to school board meetings even if they pull their children out of the school.
"This is gonna be one of the darkest moments in our history," she said. "This transgenderism that we’re forcing on our children, confusing them psychologically, abusing them, and then following up with surgeries that are permanently altering and destroying their health and their bodies, I think that any doctor who performs that kind of gender mutilation on our young people should get thrown in prison, and throw away the key, and lock them up."
"It may take one of these victims of this to sue the hell out of these hospitals into oblivion. We have to play lawfare. The left has been playing lawfare against us and we have to play lawfare against them."
Lake noted the continuing boycott of Target and Bud Light, saying, "we are sending a loud message right now with our money. If we work hard for our money, we’re not going to spend it at places that are trying to push indoctrination and this twisted mentality on our young people."
"So we can just continue to speak out and try to protect those little ones. You’ve got a little sister or a little brother, just start telling them that this is wrong. It’s wrong what’s being taught. And hopefully, if you guys do have younger siblings, you’re already doing that."
During the question period, Lake slammed the "brainwashing" occurring in schools and in the media across the generation, "brainwashing this generation into not getting married, not having families."
She stated that conservatives are having more children than liberals at a scale of 2 to 1, adding, "if we all go out in the next five, 10 years and start families, think of what we can do. We can populate America with wonderful, America-loving conservatives.
