Pop star Billie Eilish made an appearance at The Grammy Awards on Sunday and when she stepped up on stage to accept her award, she announced, "no one is illegal on stolen land." All the big celebrities in the crowd cheered and she went on to say "f*ck ICE," but after her pronouncement, local Southern California native tribes, such as the Togva Tribe, noted that her gated Glendale mansion is on land "stolen" from them.

Eilish has not commented on the issue, but California's Sinai Law Firm has offered to work pro bono to secure an eviction from Eilish on behalf of the Tongva Tribe. "Sinai Law Firm is offering to evict Billie Eilish from her Los Angeles home on a pro bono basis on behalf of the Tongva Tribe. Sinai Law Firm is the premier eviction firm in the county," the firm posted to X.

The firm's principal, Avi Sinai, further stated: "Eilish’s admission that she lives on stolen land gives the tribe a rightful action for possession as the true owner of the property. The 30-day notice is already written and ready to be served."

"On a more serious note," Sinai wrote after his post blew up on X, "using a phrase like 'stolen land' has meaning and actual implications in the real world. Both Santa Monica and W Hollywood city council meetings each start with land acknowledgements that they are sitting on stolen land. We have county supervisors reciting those lines too.

"It’s both empty virtue signaling and used as a weapon at the same time. It’s empty because no elected official is giving the land back to the Tongva just like Billie Eilish is not going to get evicted nor will she give her house back. It’s used as a political weapon to attack ‘things one side doesn’t like’ in both local and international politics, and worse, justifying political violence. No land is stolen, just taken. I don’t make the rules, that’s the way history works."

A reporter from GB News went to Eilish's Glendale mansion and ranch to test her comments, but a massive gate and security system kept him from entering the home and grounds.

Podcaster and commentator Tim Pool said, "Its a win either way. Will the courts agree its stolen land or dismiss the action?"

If the court dismisses the action, then the land would not be considered legally "stolen." If the court goes through with it, Eilish could face the consequences of her hollow words and belief system.

In the Canadian province of British Columbia, normal people are facing these questions after a court handed the titles to hundreds of privately owned homes to the Cowichan Tribes. Those homes, on land totalling about 7.5 square kilometers, are located on Lulu Island. In addition to homes, the land contains farms, golf courses, and port facilities.

The decision from the BC Supreme Court states that the Cowichan Tribes had exclusive occupation of the land before 1846, and that the Crown-issued titles were "unjustifiable infringements" on their occupation. This means that the land that has been lawfully owned and maintained for nearly two centuries is now under the title of the Cowichan and calls the owners' stake in their own land into question.

The Cowichan put out a statement themselves following the ruling, saying, "To be clear, the Cowichan Nation’s court case regarding their settlement lands at Tl’uqtinus in Richmond has not and does not challenge the effectiveness or validity of any title held by individual private landowners. The ruling does not erase private property."

However, "Over 780 acres of the Cowichan Nation settlement are currently owned by the government of Canada, the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, and the City of Richmond. The Cowichan Nation is seeking to recover those publicly held lands – much of which remain undeveloped," reports APTN News.

Eilish has also been a big proponent of the Palestinian cause to take over Israel and has repeatedly advocated for the rights of that people to take possession of the land Israel now occupies. She has said that she's queer, doesn't always feel like a girl, and has advocated for climate change causes. She was also a big supporter of the BLM movement and railed against white people for their "White. F*cking. Privilege."
